City University of Hong Kong Information
The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is a fairly young establishment having been founded as recently as 1984. It is one of eight universities in Hong Kong and if you include students at the sub degree level it caters for around 25,000 students. The president of the City university of Hong Kong is Professor Way Kuo.
The City University of Hong Kong Information ranking is number 30 in Asia in the University Review List. Similarly ranked colleges include POSTECH, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Korea University, and Sungkyunkwan University.
Other Good colleges in Hong Kong include the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
As can be seen from the rankings table the City University is a very well thought of institution, with a world wide reputation; it is considered to be in the top 150 universities in the world by the Times of London.
TheCity University of Hong Kong has three major faculties, these being of Business, Humanities and social science, and the Science and Engineering. These cater for a wide variety of subjects such as accountancy; economics; marketing; Asian studies; international studies; English; Biology; computing; and Mathematics.
In addition to the three major faculties there are also three schools, these being the School of Graduate Studies, School of Law and the School of Creative Media.
