The College Station branch of the Texas A&M University (TAMU) is the main part of the larger university system with the same name and is the first public institution of higher learning created in Texas, having been established in the year 1871.

Collectively, the whole system has an endowment of $5.6 billion and a student body of around 50,000. It has a large alumni base of around 300,000 and all in all has the statistics to go with the reputation of being one of the larger and more prestigious universities within the United States of America.

One of the things that makes Texas A&M University, College Station, TX such a great place to study is the fact that there are more than 150 different course of study offered within the university’s larger degree programs. They in fact have a number of colleges that rank amongst the largest of their kind in the country including the college of agricultural science, the college of architecture, the college of geosciences, the college of liberal arts and the college of veterinary medicine.
