The Swansea Metropolitan University, now the University of Wales Trinity Saint David has the following University Review British Rankings, No. 117 by the Guardian, and No. 125 by the Daily Telegraph.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David Ranking is therefore similar to those of the University of Worcester, University of Bolton, and the Southampton Solent University.

In 1992, the Swansea Institute of Higher Education was founded but this was not the institutions true starting point as it dates back to 1852 when it was known as being a School of Arts; this university is proud of its ancestry and of it’s evolution in education.

Located in the suburbs of Swansea, South Wales, its walls are an inspiration to the community as it offers superb courses in both it’s undergraduate and post graduate schools. Post graduate students can apply as either full time or part time students for flexibility and strategy towards graduation in their chosen fields. There are also four main institutions that are noted in today’s Swansea Metropolitan University – its proud new name after it was awarded to become a competitive University status. It now houses the Faculty of Applied Design and Engineering; Faculty of Art and Design; Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Business and Management.

Most of the students of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David are housed in the Faculty of Applied Design and Engineering which is the university’s core faculty. Not only does it focus on widely known fields of Engineering such as Industrial and Automotive Engineering and Media but it also offers courses such as: Architectural Glass, Built and Natural Environment, Applied Computing and Logistics and Manufacturing.

The Swansea Metropolitan University boasts of its one is to one computer-student availability; well equipped technological learning facilities and laboratories; lessons and courses focused on current and futuristic needs of the society; and enough communication and training from experts on given and specific fields.

As it often posts advancements in inviting students locally and internationally there seems to be a lot of notable student support being done. Students, whatever status or background are given a fair chance in competing and participating in any given course even in special cases such as those that are dyslexia and those with mild to severe disabilities. Students who are more mature than others, who are have been unable to earn a degree in their younger years are given fair chances and extra support from its staff and counseling crew.
