The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU – Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet) is mainly located within Uppsala in the country of Sweden, although there are other campuses scattered around Sweden.

The SLU is publicly funded through the federal Ministry of Agriculture, a deal which has been in place since the university’s founding in 1977. Currently, there are around 4,000 students studying there, with around 3,000 staff members in various roles of education and practical research.
