Emory University is located in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA. The university has 9 divisions, these are: Emory College (major undergraduate college); Oxford College (undergraduate college used for the first two years of study for many disciplines); School of Law; School of Medicine; Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing; Candler School of Theology; Goizueta Business School; Rollins School of Public Health; and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

At the undergraduate level the main college of the university is Emory college offering 66 majors and 53 minors in addition to several inter department programs.

Emory has an impressive library collection of 3.1 million volumes spread across its five libraries. Some of its prime contents are the original papers of Ted Hughes. The university is also endowed with a museum that contains many artifacts of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman empire; in total it holds over 18,000 pieces.
