University Sao Paulo Information
Although mainly located in São Paulo city (four campuses) the University of Sao Paulo is also located in six other cities (seven campuses) across the state. The main campus is the Campus Armando de Salles Oliveira located in an urban area of Sao Paulo. The university is currently presided over by Suely Vilela Sampaio.
São Paulo university offers a large range of subjects to study and has school related to Arts, Sciences and Humanities; Communications and Arts; Nursing; Engineering; and Agriculture. It has faculties in Architecture and Urbanism; Pharmaceutical Sciences; Law; Economy, Management and Accounting; Education; Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences; Medicine; Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science; Odontology; Public Health; Animal Science and Food Engineering.
The university of São Paulo has a strong tradition of producing leaders of Brazil, these presidents include Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Prudente de Morais and Nereu Ramos amongst many.
